i have never been a fan of the subject of economics during my academic years. I am more of a number person. I was once sitting amongst a group of people who were having a heated discussion regarding how this vast subject needs a lot of research and if given research grants economics can really develop. hearing all of it, this really funny question popped in my head and I blurted it out to every one sitting there. the question was that why do we have to waste away thousands on economics when no one could solve the basic economic problem and the children are still studying that humans have unlimited wants and resources are limited and this situation leads to choice. the basic economic problem. this question seemed reasonably funny while it was in my head but as soon as I blurted it out and got the unsmiling faces and incredulous looks as a reaction I wished I had kept my supposedly hilarious question to myself. I did get the answer to my immature question eventually. I know I m not really fond of economics but this subject has provided some elaborate procedures to help the government and investing in research for it cannot be a complete waste.
