Ever since I discovered what transportable homes are, I became fascinated with them. I think they are really cool! Imagine, a sturdy and durable house that will not take so much time and resources to finish. These pre manufactured homes come in several designs, colors, and styles. It’s like building a huge Lego house, where you assemble various parts from a home kit. The person who invented this kind of house is really a genius!

I even have this dream to be able to design transportable or modular homes someday. I guess it would be nice to help other people have affordable, beautiful, and sturdy homes. I already have several house designs in mind but I’m not sure if they can be good designs for a transportable house. I understand that, aside from the aesthetic design, the structural worthiness of a design is very important for a modular house. But I didn’t know what course to take in college to be able to land a job designing transportable houses. Should I take up Engineering or Architecture? I am not even sure if there is a special training or special course for that. However, I know that my dream will, one day, come true.
